what is this red light above my fuel gauge on my 2004 land rover discovery
check ground on fuel tank
My guess would be Low Fuel Warning Light. But saying that, RED usually means STOP. So it may very well be something else. I suggest you contact a Peugeot dealer to find out for sure.
On a 1997 Ford Contour : ( No ) Just the engine oil pressure warning light located in the upper right area of your gauge cluster ( above the fuel gauge )
get a new dial cluster from eBay it a peugeot problem
= Sorry I mean = = I have the warning light telling me that I have water in fuel filter on my 1994 diesel Peugeot 306. Do I need to change the fuel filter if so can some one please tell me where the fuel filter located and would I have to reprimand it =
Cluster means all the gauges and warning lights on a vehicle i.e. fuel gauge, temp gauge speedometer, odometer, oil pressure warning lights etc.
my gas gauge doesnt work and i dont get a warning light when about to run out, mine goes to fuel when its about to run out
There typically isn't a separate fuse for the fuel gauge - it's a shared circuit, and you'd lose a lot more than your fuel gauge if that circuit lost continuity. If your fuel gauge isn't working, you're more likely looking at a bad fuel sending unit, not a fuse.
Try hitting the dashboard directly above the fuel gauge. A nice thump might release a gauge one a Volvo.
probley weak fuel pump or injectors.
It may be a blown bulb in the warning light. Or it may be the tank sender unit is faulty.
