My guess would be Low Fuel Warning Light. But saying that, RED usually means STOP. So it may very well be something else. I suggest you contact a Peugeot dealer to find out for sure.
it's an oil level gauge. leave the key turned onto alternator for a few secs without starting it and it'll light up and go up!
the switch is located on top of the gearbox,under the airfilterbox
the gas light is the light right under the gas gauge. it is a yellow light that comes on, just a circle!
Check engine light : Gauge cluster without tachometer ( under the engine oil pressure gauge ) Gauge cluster with tachometer ( just to the left of the battery voltage gauge )
refill the braking fluid tank under the bonnet, just call peugeot garage or halfords to ask which is the best one to use hope this has helped
usually under the the drivers side rear passenger seat, lift off a large black plastic cover and underneath you shall have your fuel gauge sender unit + pump if it's a petrol.
reconnect the plug under driver seat. it helps.
If your gauge cluster has a tachometer:The "Check engine" light is under the tachometer just below the "1000."If your gauge cluster does not have a tachometer:The "Check engine" light is below the fuel gauge, just to the left of the high-beam headlight indicator.
under the front passenger wheel arch behind the protective cover sits underneath the head light
On a ( 1996 ) Mercury Tracer , the " check engine " warning light is at theBOTTOM of your instrument panel under the right hand side of the fuel gauge ( under the " F " )
means you've got no gas haha
Its under the main gear box mount on my 2008 model which has to be removed to complete the exchange, its not a five minute job!
