The climate region in New York State is generally humid continental and features diverse weather. New York is influenced by two continental air masses which includes a warm, moist one coming from the southwest and a cold, dry one coming from the northwest. A cold airflow from the North Atlantic also has an effect on weather in New York.

It is cold ranging from 10 degrees F and goes up to 45 degrees F mostly cold some snows here and there not a severe a Chicago
