That is the water pump weep hole. If coolant is coming out of it then the water pump has failed.
That is the water pump weep hole. The water pump has failed and needs replaced.
tighten hose clamp or replace gasket on thermostat housing The hole in the block next to the thermostat housing is the water pump weep hole. If coolant is coming out of that hole, the water pump has failed.
If you have a 2.7L, then yes. That is the water pump weep hole.
The water pump weep hole is located next to the thermostat housing. The thermostat housing is the part the lower radiator hose attaches to on the engine. The water pump weep hole is located next to the thermostat housing. The weep hole next to the thermostat housing (lower hose) is from the water pump. The weep hole next to the thermostat housing (lower hose) is from the water pump.

The Thermostat is located at the low side radiator hole housing ( one end of the hole is connect from the radiator and the other end is connect to the housing
If you are seeing coolant leak out of the hole next to the thermostat on a 2.7L, that is the water pump weep hole. You water pump needs replaced. The water pump is internal to the front of the engine, driven by the timing chain.

The jiggle valve's a small hole on the thermostat itself (not a separate part). It's merely there to help free the system of trapped air. Follow the hose from the top of the radiator to the motor and you should find the thermostat housing. Removing the housing will reveal the thermostat and at the top of the Tstat should be a small hole -- that would be the jiggle valve (if your thermostat actually has one).
Follow the upper radiator hose to where it connects to the engine. This connection is the thermostat housing and the thermostat is located inside it. Be sure the vent hole of thermostat is facing up when installing a new one.
If you follow the lower radiator hose to the engine, you will find a plastic housing behind the alternator. The water pump weep hole is next to the lower bolt for that housing. By the way that housing is where the thermostat is located.
