I'm not sure. Maybe 250 or 300 pounds, my brother and I removed it yesterday by hand, put it on the ground and put it back on the truck when we were done working on the fuel tank. It felt like an easy task, of course, we are big fellows. But with some help it could be easily removed. Good luck!!!
THE 1993 Ranger is 53" x 73," but this may vary.
Yes. The Ford Ranger bed has gone unchanged since 1993. Any bed since 93 will fit. www.FordRanger.net
The fuel pump on a '93 ford ranger is located inside the fuel tank. It is eaisest to remove the bed of the truck to access the fuel pump. Access is on the top of the tank behind the cab of the truck. I prefer this to dropping the tank.
The answer is yes --- but.... The Ford Ranger beds were the same from 1994-2009. You didn't, however, mention whether your 2000 Ranger had the same size bed as the 2002 Ranger Crew Cab. The Rangers come in three bed sizes. (1) a 7' Bed (2) a 6' Bed (3) a Flareside bed. In case you aren't familiar with the Flareside, it is the one that has the flared wheel arches on the outside of the bed. The shape of the inside of the bed is a perfect rectangle. There are no fender wells in the bed. If the bed on the 2002 is the same length as the 2000, you should be alright. Should you decide to get a new truck bed cover, I would suggest checking at TonneauCovers4Less.com. The attached related link is to the Ford Ranger section on that website. They offer tonneau covers from almost all of the major manufacturers.
No, because the truck could not hold up to the weight in the wheel base was the same. Please If you have any other questions, Go to google and look up your question
Can you take a Ford Ranger 1994 bed and put it on a 1994 Mazda B2300? Truth be told, they are the same truck. My 1995 B2300 has "Made for Mazda by Ford" on a sticker inside the door of the driver's side. Also, the Chilton's manual for the Mazda B series trucks are the same as the one for the Ford Ranger.
to rempve pickup bed, get under neath truck and cut off 6 bolts that hold bed to chassis. then disconnect any wires for lights, etc. then with a couple buddies, lift bed off truck
It`s a Ford.
Last year of production for the Ford Ranger with the flareside bed was 2004.
If you have a long bed ranger then the answer is no. The edge was a short bed step side.
