There are a few that completeley destroy your hard drive, making it necessary to buy a new computer, and give whoever sent the virus your email accounts, saved credit cards, and everything else on your computer. Magistr, Chernobyl, and kriz viruses are all very bad viruses that are definitely worth protecting yourself against. There are probably a few more like that out there but those are the only ones I know of.
