What is the yearly salary for a letter carrier'?

As a matter of fact, I can answer it. After working as a letter carrier for 30 years, last year in 2010 my base pay (8 hours per day, 5 days a week) was $55,000 give or take a few bucks. About $26-$27 per hour. Like I said, that was accomplished after putting in 30 years. Not complaining, as I also was given 5 weeks of paid vacation time and 10 paid holidays.
