Wow inetresting question. Zebras are grazers, along with animals like blue wildebeest. The Blue Wildebeest and zebras are often seen grazing togethor, because both animals eat at a certain height. Im sorry, i honestly cant remeber which one, but the one eats the long grass, and the other follows after and eats the short grass that is left. So apart form their part in the ecosystem in keeping the grass levels from becoming encroached, they are also regular pray for lions.
