For what it's worth, the tires on my '96 are 195/60/R15's and appear to be the stock size.
I recently had two replaced and the tire shop guy said nothing about them being out or the ordinary or non stock.
I've thought about going to a slightly wider tire, because A) it would help the car's handling, (which is already good, in my opionion) and B) because it would look cool ;) My Sunfire always wanted to grow up to become a Firebird!
