we only have 100Kva Transformers on our salt furnaces as an example:

100000va / 12v = 8333 amps the secondaries , wire, and electrodes are water cooled.

A 250 kVA transformer can supply a maximum of 250 kW but only to a load with a power factor of 1. For other loads the maximum power available is 250 kW multplied by the power factor.
