There is a plug located in the side of the transaxle housing unscrew the setscrew and put your ginger in, if you can feel the fluid right at the level or a little comes out then it is at the right level, much below this then add some fluid.

To check the fluids, its hard(the car must be kept level while bing raised) With the engine running and the transaxle at normal operating temperature(idled for 3 to 5 minutes) Locate the check plug on the transaxle. The check plug is located near the pan, adjacent to the engine oil drain plug. Place an oil container under the plug and remove it. Observe the fluid as it drips into the pan, indicating correct fluid level. The fluid level should be at the bottom of the check hole. if fluid pours out excessively, the transaxle may have been overfilled. Double-check, if no fluid drips from the check hole, add small amouts of fluid throuh the fill cap at the top of the transaxle until the level is at the bottom of the check hole. If the fluid in the drain pan is dark reddish-brown color, or if it has a hurned smell, the fluid should be changed
