the Capulet's( Juliet's family) held a ball and romeo (Montague) and his friends went to gatecrash it as Rosaline was there romeos lover at the time. Romeo and Juliet were both looking though the fish tank. they look up and it was love at first sight:)

∙ 15y agoIn the beginning of the story, Romeo is in love with Rosaline. Only problem is that she doesn't like him back. He can't win her over because she is dead set on becoming a nun. Then at the party, he meets Juliet, makes out twice with her, and wa-zam, apparently he forgot all about Rosaline and now loved Juliet.

Actually that's not true because its not a love story its a tragedy it was stupid to be in love back then no one fell in love. Romeo was a little player and fell for almost every girl he sees and Juliet tricks him into marriage so she doesnt have to marry county Paris.
