The Sun only appears larger near the horizon, but when its apparent size is measured accurately it isn't actually bigger. It's just that near the horizon your eye has distant objects to compare it with, so it looks bigger.

Near sightedness or myopia is a refractive defect of the eye lens in which the image is formed in front of the retina not on it. people with this defect can see closer objects clearly while distant ones are blurred..it may be due to excessive curvature of the eye ballFarsightedness or hypermetropia or hyperopia is a defect of vision in which closer objects appear to be blurred.it is because the eyeball is too short or the lens has incorrect curvature or the cornea is flat.If your far sited its easier for you to see things more clearly at a distance, if your short sighted its more clear when your closer to the object

You have two eyes, away from each by about 6 cm. The object placed nearby makes a larger angle to both eyes as compared to distant object. From that angle, you make out the distance of the object from you. Stars are too far away for human eyes (or any animal eyes, for that purpose.) to make smaller or bigger angle. They all make the smallest possible angle witch can be recognized by naked eyes and so you can not differentiate between near or distant star. All of them are distant objects for human eyes.

Near object form bigger angle and distant objects form smaller angle. From this angle formed, you can judge the distance between near and distant objects. But their is limit to the smallest angle, you can perceive. That is why you can not note difference between the near and distant stars.

Near mint means about 90% perfect condition, and about 10% unperfect. Near mint can appear on most things(usually things people are trying to sell) so if you see near mint, it means it is about perfect as the item is claimed to be. NOTE: "Mint" means perfect, "Near Mint" means almost perfect.
If a distant star has a slight back and forth motion then it may be located near a planet. The gravitational force of the planet will cause the star to move.

Near-sighted means able to see things clearly only when up close, that distant objects are less clear. Another term is "myopia." In the opposite condition, farsightedness (hyperopia), objects are clearer at a distance than they are up close.
