Vitamin deficiencies are caused by lack of certain vitamins: A,B,C,D,E, and K. Lack of Vitamin A is caused by not eating enough liver, beef, chicken, eggs, fortified milk, carrots, mangoes, sweet potatoes, and leafy green vegetables. Didn't your mother tell you to eat your veggies.

Vitamin A is essential for vision (especially night vision), immune response, bone growth and reproduction.
