Kirby's Dream Collection is a 2012 video game published by Nintendo for the Wiisystem. It is an anthology disc celebrating the series' 20th anniversary, that took place on April 27, 2012. The game has been released with a booklet that tells about Kirby's history, with a soundtrack as well with music from the series and sound effects. The game was released in Japan on July 19, 2012 and in North America on September 16, 2012 [1] and will be released in Europe later in the year.[citation needed]

Aside from the games included in the disc, it also has new challenge stages, based on those from Kirby's Return to Dream Land. It also has a museum section, which tells about the Kirby games that have been released through the years and it also contains three episodes from Kirby: Right Back at Ya! ("Kirby Comes to Cappy Town", "Crusade for the Blade", and "Waddle While You Work").
All games included in the collection have been calibrated to be played using the Wii Remote. Not only can players use the Wii Remote to control the game, but theGameCube Controller & Classic Controller have been enabled to control with as well. The games can use up to 4 players, depending on the game that they play.
Currently, the game has moderately fair sales. As of August 25, 2012, the game has sold about 200,000 copies in Japan. The game has so far received positive reviews from critics & fans in North America, praising the amount of content that the game had. The game currently has an 82 on Metacritic[1].
