What is wrong if the car battery was bad the car was boosted and acts like it wants to start but doesn't it's a 1997 Chrysler sebring?

the first thing u should try is replacing the battery cables. my aunts car had the same prob. and replacing the battery cables fixed it.. if that's not it its most likely the distributor. that cost between $200 and $400 unless u go to a dealership where they will charge about $900

99 Chrysler town and country have trouble starting . if you leave lights on doors open ...summer or winter ......it wont start ......put new battery in.....doesnt help..?

Your battery is probably "broken" Check if you have disabled battery charging And if the charging light is on it is charging and its a good thing. Also check the adaptor with a multimeter (UNPLUG IT FIRST)
