Mine just came on too, and i noticed my gas gauge moving up and down when i hit bumps, (more than usual) I believe my problem is the float in the gas tank. could be yours too.
The alarm is set, activated, or malfunctioning.
Bulb is probably defective. Replace it.
You need to check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge.

What year is your car? Did you mean the CHECK ENGINE light? The battery gauge?

Check gauge? Never heard of a check gauge light. If you are referring to the check engine light it is on because there is a problem with the emissions system. You need to have the ECU scanned by a professional.
Could be something like low fuel, high temp, low oil pressure, any number of things.
The gauge check light is just a reminder to check your gauges.Probably your fuel gauge is below a set point.Just put gas in it and it will go off. Rember..its not the check engine light...
The odometer unit has failed and will need replaced.

It is inside the transmission on the valve body. It is called a transmission range sensor.
