the switch in the drives side door is probably bad, it can control all the windows and locks the two back ones

Pop out the switch on the drivers door; it may be a simple connection at the drivers side (master switch). All power runs thru this switch before going to the motors or other switches.

If the CD rom drive has stopped working properly or maybe there's some type of incompatibility issues then you might want to consider installing the newer drivers. But if the CD rom has stopped working because of a hardware issue, then installing new drivers may not help in that case.
