I've had that happen in my 2002 mountaineer. what I've found is that if you spray the door latches with wd40 it will clean off the sensors and the door ajar light should go out. but make sure all the doors are shut.
It sounds like you need a new serpentine fan belt.

Hi, On another site Jill Wagner herself said that the shoes are from ALAIA of Paris and were bought by her at Neiman-Marcus a while back.
Clean them and see.
I have replaced one front and both rear wheel bearings on my '02 mountaineer. When they go bad, you'll typically hear a humming or rubbing sound coming from the bearing while the vehicle is in motion. Significant disassembly is required to get to the bearing and the old bearing must be pressed out with a hydraulic press. the new bearing must be pressed in in similar fashion. It's a tough job for your avg guy whose mechanical experience is limited to basic maintenance and who may not have access to a hydraulic press.
It means you probably stole a law enforcement bait car! The officers on duty probably went to the donut shop while you took it! But even so, just go turn yourself in!
Check the electric fan to see if it is working.
need to know what causes my car to make a heavy noise when driving. i have changed both front bearings but have discovered the noise still exist. Could it be a problem with the drive axlel?
