the car will turn off because the something in the fuel line may be cloged this could be the fuel pump, the injectors or even a very bad contaminated air filter. Other causes may be an electrical system and not just the alternator but a coil.
I actually was suprised my grand prix was squealing and it was the alternator. I got it replaced and it has stopped.
check your alternator or make sure the starter is on correctly
Take it to Mechanic!
I believe the Pontiac GS did.
alternator on a 2000 Pontiac runs off a serpentine belt if its loose then chances are ur serpentine belt is worn or stretched or your tensioner pulley is bad or the tensioner itself..alternator bolts stable does not move like the old setup.
The regulator is in the engine computer not the alternator.
There is none on GM cars
A 1993 Pontiac Grand Am weighs approximately 2,828 lbs. The Pontiac Grand Am stopped production in the year 2005. The car was replaced with the Pontiac G6.
usually in alternator
Pontiac. It was the model that replaced the Grand AM.
Alternator is not putting out a charge.
Its on the top front of the engine. Closest to the windshield and firewall.
