167,528 kilometres or as far as your chicken legs will push you
How is your stopping distance, how far do you push the pedal to the floor before anything happens are two good clues. Also the term "need new brakes" is way too vague. - They may need to be bled or you may just need new front pads.
could be a throtle positon sensor. This is a sensor that tells the computer how far down the throtle is being pushed.
Depends how far you push the slanty pedal. :-)
well it does depend on the fact of if you replaced the brakes or not because after you replace your brakes you have to bleed them again or else they won't work properly if im correct
if you dont depress the pedal far enough when stationary the clutch drags a little making it difficult to engage gears push the pedal all the way and you will be ok
look on top of the brake pedal under the dash and you will see the switch, with one hand push the brake pedal down and with the other hand push the brake switch in as far as it will go in it's holder and then pull the brake pedal back with your hand to set it.
Step down on the brake pedal as far as u can push it without forcing it too hard, then try to press it, if it doesnt work... then you will need to take it in and get a new shifter put it or maybe just the button looked at....
Sounds like a bad master cylinder, if you push down on pedal with light preasure and pedal goes too far down then push hard and quick to see if it will hold if so cylinder is leaking
Is that the one directly under the word "Brake"? Yes... it is the brake warning lamp, calling attention to a detected problem with the brakes. First thing to check is the brake fluid levels. Second is that the emergency brake pedal is fully released. Third - could be excessive brake pedal travel - having to push it too far. This might be the brakes are in need of repair / replace. Anything else, have the brake system inspected. See "Related Questions" below for more
INITIAL ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE Be sure parking brake lever is fully released. Fully apply the vehicles service brakes 2 to 3 times by depressing the brake pedal as far as possible. This will cause the automatic adjuster mechanism to correctly adjust the rear drum brakes. Apply and release the park brake lever one time after the service brakes have been correctly adjusted. This procedure has correctly adjusted the vehicle's rear service brakes.
