Invader Zim , The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius ,
I think it is one of the best cartoon shows. It is in my top five all time.
my favorite nickelodeon show is spongebob squarepants the most popular one is loud house
Nickelodeon is a kids tv station that has many popular cartoons and shows. Some cartoons are: Spongebob Squarepants, Fairly Odd Parents, Planet Sheen, T.U.F.F. Puppy, Penguins of Madagascar, Rugrats, Dora The Explorer, etc. Some shows are: iCarly, Victorious, Big Time Rush, True Jackson, House of Anubis, Drake and Josh, etc.
Probably because they wanted teens to have their own channel so they can show more of the nickelodeon shows like iCarly, Victorious, Spongebob and Big Time Rush on Nickelodeon and put the more teen-ish shows like Degrassi on teenick so little kids won't have to see it because it's on a separate channel. They probably put nicktoons as a separate channel for a similar reason. Probably just to give iCarly, Victorious, Spongebob and Big Time Rush more time and put more of the animation/cartoons type of shows geared twords little boys (and sometimes girls like with The Mighty B) on their own channel. They probably just have all those separate channels so every age group can watch what they want at the right time for them I could be wrong but I'm about 90% sure this is why.
I miss the old Nickelodeon. I miss the old cartoons and the old comedy shows. Such cartoons are: Jimmy Neutron, CatDog, Angry Beavers, Rugrats, All Grown Up, Fairly Odd Parents, Hey Arnold, The Wild Thornberrys, Danny Phantom, Avatar The Last Airbender, Cat Scratch, etc. The old comedy shows are All That, The Amanda Show, Zoey 101, Romeo!, Drake and Josh, Kenan and Kel, Ned's Declassified, Unfabulous, etc.***Some new cartoons are good such as Tuff Puppy, Planet Sheen, Penguins ofMadagascar, etc. Some comedy shows are good such as iCarly, Big Time Rush, Victorious, etc.I do think the new shows are good, but they should play re-runs of the old shows sometimes because we all grew up with them.

because adults are older now they might still watch cartoons from time to time
The younger age finds most things they newly discovered funny or entertaining. When you turn thirteen you start to go through puberty and the cartoons change and they aren't that interesting. But the cartoons you see as a child, and you see older after 13, you'll still love it. And not all cartoons are children cartoons. Some are for adults and teens. A lot of anime is for the older teens and they are cartoons, just from a different country. With me, I hate the new cartoon shows on cartoon network and nickelodeon. But I still like Pokemon and Spongebob. It's also sometimes you watch the shows so many times it gets boring. Also a newer show finished on nickelodeon. It's an anime style show called Avatar.
There doesn't appear to be a definitive list of THE top ten cartoons of all time. There are sites that have viewer rankings like (ranker.com/crowdranked-list/my-favorite-cartoons-of-all-time), (tvguide.com/news/greatest-cartoons-tv-guide-magazine-1071203) or (thetoptens.com/kids-cartoons) but these are of course solely based on individual tastes & opinions.

Alasdair Gillis was a star of Nickelodeon's first hit show, "You Can't Do That on Television". Melissa Joan Hart, star of "Clarissa Explains It All" had a successful TV career after acting on Nickelodeon as a teenager.
