Alasdair Gillis was a star of Nickelodeon's first hit show, "You Can't Do That on Television". Melissa Joan Hart, star of "Clarissa Explains It All" had a successful TV career after acting on Nickelodeon as a teenager.
How come they play the old Nickelodeon cartoons on nicktoons and the old Nickelodeon shows on teen nick why can't they just show them on the Nickelodeon channel sometimes?
Probably because they wanted teens to have their own channel so they can show more of the nickelodeon shows like iCarly, Victorious, Spongebob and Big Time Rush on Nickelodeon and put the more teen-ish shows like Degrassi on teenick so little kids won't have to see it because it's on a separate channel. They probably put nicktoons as a separate channel for a similar reason. Probably just to give iCarly, Victorious, Spongebob and Big Time Rush more time and put more of the animation/cartoons type of shows geared twords little boys (and sometimes girls like with The Mighty B) on their own channel. They probably just have all those separate channels so every age group can watch what they want at the right time for them I could be wrong but I'm about 90% sure this is why.

It won't come out. The dvd was scrapped. They won't release it any time soon because all the shows on that dvd are shows that ended and isn't on nickelodeon anymore.

Was 1999 NIckelodeon's biggest year?
Yes, 1999 was Nickelodeon's 20th birthday year. NIckelodeon was amazing in 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001, when they had on good shows like Rugrats, Amanda Show, All That, Chalk Zone, Rocket Power, CatDog, Invader ZIm, Hey Arnold, etc. Those shows were amazing. It was before Nick gave us crappy shows like iCarly, Victorious, Fanboy and ChumChum, BIg Time Rush, Naked Brothers Band, and All grown Up. I'm sorry I offended any fans of iCarly and Victorious, and All grown Up. I really miss the old school Nickelodeon.
