buffet- sound nicer :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I play noblet clarinet. My friend plays buffet. I suggest both because both of them have good quality sound. When I play noblet clarinet, playing the middle Bb and B(not the low) is very hard and the exact right tune won't come out. But the high and and low notes are awesome on noblet. On buffet the B and Bb are alot better then noblet. But the other notes aren't as good as noblet. I suggest noblet but buffet is great too!
you can usually find it on the bell and the barrel, sometimes even the ligature that came with it, of your clarinet.

Noblet is a branch off of the Clarinet brand, Le Blanc. Le Blanc has great clarinets and played wonderfully. Noblet is and could be very old. These instruments, despite their age, play beautifully. They were discontinued a while ago. Now they are a bit of a trick to find. Some of these age all the way back into the 1800s. I would say they cost a deal of money, but not extremely expensive.

I learned to play the clarinet back in the early 1970's when braces were truly medieval torture devices and my mouth was full of them. It was painful playing the clarinet with braces due to the metal pins constantly cutting into my lips. However, the clarinet was unharmed and now- over thirty years later, I'm still playing the same 1963 Noblet N that I played back then.
a good I shape clarinet could be 760 if fixed up
