buffet- sound nicer :)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I play noblet Clarinet. My friend plays buffet. I suggest both because both of them have good quality sound. When I play noblet clarinet, playing the middle Bb and B(not the low) is very hard and the exact right tune won't come out. But the high and and low notes are awesome on noblet. On buffet the B and Bb are alot better then noblet. But the other notes aren't as good as noblet. I suggest noblet but buffet is great too!

To get an accurate appraisal, it's best to consult a music store or a professional appraiser who specializes in musical instruments.
To determine the year of a Noblet bass clarinet, you typically need to reference the serial number found on the instrument. Noblet used a specific serial number system, and you can often find charts or resources online that correlate these numbers with production years. If you provide the serial number, I can help you find the corresponding year or suggest where to look for this information.

Buffet all the way. the buffet family has years of experience exclusive to clarinet development. Selmer is better known for their saxophones. I have played clarinet for eleven years, am entering my junior year of college as a music major and play on the Buffet E-11. My instrument has served me well, I am going to have to think about upgrading to the R-13 in the near future but my current instrument is in fine condition and plays extremely well.
