WOW! That's a big number. I'm guessing that it's probably -.700 or -7.00 at worst. If it's -700 I'd guess you are blind. Any negative number on your correction indicates that you are near-sighted. If the number is -.700 (or -.7) it means that you are less than one diopter nearsighted. One diopter is the strength of a lens that focuses an image at 1 meter. The negative of that (-1 diopter) is just the compliment of that lens.
Do contacts affect peripheral vision?
Contacts are meant to correct your vision. They are supposed to have the same function as glasses without the inconvenience.
colored contacts are not the same as clear contacts. while they can both help with vision, in some places you don't need a prescription for colored contacts. and if you get colored contacts, you can get them so they don't affect your vision at all. and plus, colored contacts go great with Halloween costumes.
No, they don't have to be only for vision use. A couple of my favorite singers use colored contacts and they can see fine.
"After receiving Laser Vision surgery, glasses and contacts will no longer be needed. The reason is because the surgery fixes your eye sight so that it is 20/20 so that you will not need glasses or contacts for vision correcting purposes."
you just buy two boxes of contacts. one for each eye. i have the same problem.
Yes glasses or contacts helps
No because he doesn't need glasses/contacts to see. His vision is perfect.
Both .i have contacts and it did at times make my vision get worse but at times it'd get really good i dont know if its from the contacts or what but even if you get lasic eye surgery you can still in time get a bad vision again
Well in order to get contacts, this is what you must do. First, ask your mom to go check out contacts or call 1-800-contacts. Then ask your friends if they wear contacts and what kind they wear. You must be nice and not mean. You must also get your family things whenever they want and whatever they want. Most commonly go to a vision place and talk to a vision worker about what your insurance covers. Ask your parents are talking about your insurance, then bring up contacts to the vision worker and then you DON'Tstop talking about contacts. That is how I convince my mom to get me contacts, but I also sat on my moms glasses accidentally, she got them fixed and then she set me up an appointment to get fitted for contacts
None that will make a dramatic difference.
Yes, mono vision contacts are worth the time it takes to get used to them if you are tired of wearing glasses. These lenses are perfect for swimming and snorkeling as well.
If they have vision problems, they wear glasses or contacts. If your vision is perfect, you possibly don't need them.
You're not likely to find these kinds of contacts in regular vision stores. These are specialty contacts that you need to order online. You do need a prescription thought to order. Once place to get them is Vision Direct.

Yes: they use them in movies. Note that they will decrease your vision.
A technical person's vision should be 20/20. They need to have near perfect vision in order to do their job. This vision can be achieved through the use of glasses or contacts.
Contacting CIBA Vision Contacts is done by writing to Alcon as they are now the parent company. Their mailing address is 6201 South Freeway, Fort Worth TX 76134-2001.
Contacts do not help slow the degeneration of vision as they provide the same purpose as eye-glasses. Stupid...
Yes.Color contacts are considered cosmetic and beauty. I get mine at the beauty supply store near me. :)
Colored contacts can be purchased anywhere you would buy regular contacts. Vision centers in your local wholesale club or supercenter will carry these novelty items. You can also shop online at www.coastalcontacts.com or www.coloredcontacts.com
