How do you relate to the poem - is it emotional or factual, instructional or pleading, desperate or deadpan, etcetera. Is there a conclusion? Does it make you feel happy, thoughtful, morose, sanguine, angry? What do you take as the overall meaning? If you can answer these questions, you are more than half way to giving a good analysis.
