The solar system of which the planet Earth is a part, originally formed out of a large cloud of interstellar gas. The cloud had its own spin, and that angular momentum was given to the various objects which condensed out of it.
If you wish to trace this back even further, and ask why the original cloud was spinning, we can go back to the Big Bang, an explosion which formed the universe as we know it. The original momentum of the Big Bang was entirely linear; everything moved away from the center of the explosion. However, linear motion is easily warped into angular motion, by gravitational interaction.
A planet's atmosphere is simply the collection of gases that surround the planet. On Earth we call it air. Air is made up of Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon, and small amounts of other gases. The atmosphere of Uranus is methane, a flammable gas. Most of Venus' atmosphere is Carbon Dioxide. Mercury does not have an atmosphere because the sun pulls the gas away.

force of gravity results in the Earth's orbital motion. So the Earth orbits the Sun
instead of falling into it.

Also, the reason it does not come down is also because of gravity. It lines up the elements according to their density. For example if you pour honey, engine oil, dish soap, water, corn oil, and rubbing alcohol into a cup, you will see they sit on top of each other instead of mixing, just like the atmosphere is made of oxygen on the bottom and lighter elements like hydrogen and helium at the top.
A spinning object doesn't need a force to keep it spinning. It keeps spinning unless a force comes along and causes it to stop spinning.
The best theoretical model for the earth's formation says that the accretion disk of leftover dust and junk surrounding the sun, from which the earth formed, was loaded with angular momentum. The result of that was that the earth formed spinning, and will continue to spin until something makes it slow down
or stop.
Actually, since you asked, the earth has slowed down considerably since it was formed. The force causing it to slow down is the friction of the tidal bulge that rubs around the earth twice a day. The effect is that the earth's rotation is slowing down, and the day is getting longer, by a few thousandths of a second every Century. This effect also causes the moon to move to a lower orbit.

The earth's atmosphere is kept in place by gravity. Even though air seems like it doesn't weight much, it does have mass, and so is affected by gravity.

it doesn't the earth spins around the sun. the sun's gravity keeps us from flying aimlessly through space. and the spinning of the earth around the sun keeps us from being drawn into the sun.
It makes you dizzy because when you spin around, you don't feel steady anymore. So after spinning you feel like the earth keeps spinning, but it's really just you spinning.

Bodies spin through momentum; nothing's stopping them from spinning so they keep on spinning. The moon have a complication, because it's orbiting the Earth they have become tidally locked; so the Moon's rotation period is that same as the time to orbit the Earth.
