hydrochloric is the only one easily obtained if you are doing this for a progect, im sure their are others. but overall most acids do not corrode metals.

Yes, although it depends on what acid and what metal you are using. Strong acids will react with most metals to produce hydrogen and the corresponding salt of the metal and acid involved. Less reactive metals such as copper, silver, and gold will not react with most acids, though copper will react with nitric acid. Aluminum will resist some acids because of the fairly resistant oxide layer that forms on its surface.

Yes, most metals will be oxidized by acids (although not all). Certain noble metals, such as platinum, are very resistant to many (but not all) acids.
