In today's dollars that would be about $66,495. Based on $100 in 1920 would be $1023 today. Many celebrities bought these hand made, very fast, very advanced cars. This is also where we get the word "Duesy" As in, "Isn't that car a duesy?" They are amazing cars still to this day. Just to keep it in comparison a Ford Runabout, just a basic car was $265. In today's money about $2711.
Some of the other cars the super rich would buy would be Crossley, Packard, Cadillac, Lincoln, Rolls-Royce. But in this time people did not make a lot of money, so only the rich had cars. Here is an example, people would have to save for years to get a car.
