It had rolling hills, farmland, woods, ponds and Narragansett Bay and 2 major rivers were the Blackstone and Pawcatuck Rivers. If you lived there you might be a lumberer, shipbuilder, agricultural farmer, rum producer, dairy farmer or fisherman. Founded by Roger Williams, it had 1st Baptist church in America. There was a Jewish congregation in 1658 and Quakers lived there too. It is east of the Atlantic Ocean, west of Connecticut, south of Massachusetts and was a proprietary colony but became a royal colony later on. Highest point is Jerimoth Hill at 812 feet.
