It all depends on which academy you attend. I attended a para-military academy in central FL. We ran, did pushups, situps, ran, pushups, ran, situps, ran, ran, ran. We also were instructed on marching, and had plenty of people screaming in our face. In the beginning of the academy i thought the screaming and "calling out" of recruits were pointless, but honestly it changed my life, and i would do it all over again. There's also ALOT of fun times in the academy. I.E. gun range, offensive driving, defensive tactics, and alot of senarios. It's a great experience!
