Gunshot wounds are a major trauma and thus should be treated as quickly as possible in hospital. A first aider's responsibility when treating a gunshot wound in this case is to minimise blood loss by applying direct pressure (or if need be indirect pressure) to restrict the blood flow to the injured area. Note that a first aider's first priority is to maintain their safety, so if the gun-weilding person is still in the area then it is not recommended to put themselves in danger. If this was the case then the police should be called to remove them before attempting to administer first aid.
You first call an emergency number (911) even if they say not to. When the paramedics arrive and they still refuse treatment, then the paramedics will have them sign a waiver. This is so you are not liable if anything happens to them because they refused treatment.
Either in person, by telephone, or radio. Paramedics had the duty of preserving evidence or reporting suspicious circumstances to the police. Many suspects will confess to a paramedic because he is the first one to see the suspect before the police arrive.
To serve and protect life, help and provide assistance to people, respond to emergency calls, enforce the law, provide first aid until paramedics arrive.
Depends on the company/bank, or mail/card printing backlogs. Usually the card will arrive first, but on occasion the pins does arrive before hand.
In medical terms "para" means secondary or accessory so Paramedic means first help.
Continue CPR for 2 minutes> Reassess rhythm> If VF, Shock> Continue CPR for 2 min> Intubate> IV> EPI 1mg and so on.
I NEVER arrive late. First, that is unprofessional and is wrong. As a teacher I am required to be there 30-40 minutes before school starts and stay 30 minutes after school. An employee never should arrive late to any job. It shows an attitude.
The do a sequence of things. They first check for a response.
