What kind of freon does a 94 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme use?
R12 if Factory and if someone retro-fitted it, there should be a sticker signifying the charge with R134. Best to take it to a shop with an ID capable machine (they'll bill you for the labor)
R134a is the only freon for cars after 1994. Earlier cars can be retrofitted to R134a.
be more specific what kind of noise if any at all wont turn over ? it will not even crank up
Depends on what year Cutlass Supreme you're referring to...
14 to 16 mpg in city driving roughly. Around 20 mpg highway. Its pretty good for a big car.
The GM 4T60-E is the stock transmission on the 95 Cutlass Supreme.
1967 oldsmobile cutlass
a BOP turbo 350.
all vehicles use R-134 type refrigerant since the mid-1990's. the government banned r-12 freon. if the car had r-12 you can get a kit to change it over at any parts store.
R-134A available at walmart and most auto parts stores.
Regular old green.
The correct coolant is DEXCOOL it has an orange color to it. If your coolant is green the coolant has been changed. It has been found out that DEXCOOL was bad for Aluminum heads and gaskets. Best to switch to the green coolant.
delco or bosch plats
be more specific, bleed, what kind, or crossreferences of other models..
Was built for R12, should be converted to R134a
Turbo Hydromatic 350 or 400 I think. I have a 1973 and it started with a 350 but it was swapped for the stronger 400. the speedometer will need an adapter or it will send the wrong MPH and it will look like you are going faster than you are.
go to your local auto parts store and ask for it.
R12 unless it has been retrofitted. I would suggest have it changed, as the cost of R12 is prohibitive.
The type of oil one can use in a 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass is either 10 W 30 or 20w-50. This oil can be purchased at any auto parts store.
SAE 10w30 any major brand high mileage oil.
1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass S. Click on the link below for more information.
try ordering one from the dealer drive safe
1988 Cutlass Supreme,1961 impala, and a powder blue bentley, with blue 24's.
More than likely a metric 200. If it's a 4 speed auto then it's a 200-4R
A crappy blue Chevrolet Nova. 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass S convertible if your are referring to that car.
Easy answer to this. Don't put them on stupid cause if you are having this kind of problem they are to big.
what kind of freon does Hyundai elantra take?
What kind of freon for bmw 323i 2001
What kind of sensor is this 1991 Cutlass Supreme one inch long needle plugs into small hole below exhaust manifold?
its a 02 sensor it measures the oxygen coming out of your engine
If the engine is original, use standard oil. If the engine is new or has had a full rebuild, using synthetic oil will result in a longer life for the engine.
It depends on what kind of freon you need.
It will use R134a Freon..........
In episode 12 of season 2 Gemma and Tara are out running errands for the club, after being on lock down at the club house. Gemma asks if Taras dad was catholic after noticing a saint statue under her dash by the radio. There is a clear picture of the Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme plate above the radio. Definitely a late 60's or early 70's model.
Good as far as economic..? Yes. As far as maintenance repair? Ive driven worse! I have 2 Olds Cutlass Supreme's and I love them both. Now.. every single kind of car is going to have problems. Don't get into the car and expect it to run perfectly until you sell it. If its a 3.1 liter engine, I would suggest not buying it. I have had more problems and headaches with 3.1's - cracked head… Read More
A Cutlass is more or less the same thing as a Malibu or Monte Carlo. You could use motor mounts from either of those.
What we use is called a freon identifier and what it does is it takes a small amount of the freon that is in the tank and gives its identification and values.........
You should have this verified but the freon is probably HFC134.
Freon is a trade name. Most use Puron now.
Freon is the trade name for R12. Your car contains R134 or R134a which is not Freon.
