im not sure what kinds they cant have (sorry, my brain isen't working well this evening) but if its any help, my Russian dwarf loved carrots that were cut up into little pecies and green apple cut up into peices, my Teddy bear hamster loves carrot and yellow and red apples. Just remember to wash your hands if you've been cutting up apple before handling your hamster, hamsters dont have good eyesight so they would think that you had an apple in your hand and bite into your skin.
all kinds but not sure about blueberries and not avocados

I buy my hamster some hamster food at Wal-Mart and it isn't expensive. If you don't want to do that, I also feed my hamster Special K. He LOVES it! You should get the kind with the yogurt clusters. Hamsters love that! Hope this helped! :) ~Ashley
Hamster food is available in many pet stores. There are also many other foods that you can feed a hamster, including, fruits, veggies, and many types of seeds and nuts. Always keep fresh water, too. Do not feed the hamster poisonous foods/plants, sweets, dairy based products, strong herbs, and lettuce (it's hard on their digestive system).
Hamsters can't eat anything salted, candied, or has something to do with treats! They will get very sick. Don't feed hamsters breadsticks. Oh and watch out- if you feed your hamster fruit, avoid citrus fruits. Good Luck!
