Honda only recommends top tier fuel companies-Chevron, Texaco, Shell, and a few others.
Top tier fuels contain detergents that clean your fuel injection systems and break down any debris that might build up with cheap gas. Only use premium fuel. If you didn't need to, Honda wouldn't recommend it. By the way, try to only use Mobil One oil. The oil can withstand extremely high temps and will not coagulate causing engine wear and breakdown. This is very important since most people with an si tend to push the car above the 6000 rpm mark to engage the vtec.
