When you are self centered, the harm done is usually to yourself!
People will come to not like you as they will probably get tired of you not thinking about them and just the whole attitiude!
You will most probably become lonely, and may find it difficult to:
make or keep relationships
get on with people at work
get on with friends and family
keep out of trouble
As a result you might be unhappy or distressed
and/or find that you often upset or harm other people.
