There are a few options, you can still get cable even without cable tv, DSL, or old fashion dial up. I recommend going with DSL because it seems to be the cheapest of the high speed internet services and still has comprable speeds to cable.
I need a wireless broadband internet service with out cable or Satellite connections.
Satellite Internet does not use a cable modem. The service doesn't use cable or phone wiring in the house. There is a satellite on the property and wiring that brings the service into the house. The provider would supply the necessary peripherals to connect to the Internet.
The high speed satellite internet works equally good as the cable internet. Sometimes high speed satellite internet gets jerks due to bad climatic conditions and transmission loss from the satellite. Satellite internet should be viewed as a last restort for broadband service. Connection speeds do not rate as high as they do as cable and prices are typically higher.
the information travels faster , dsl travels in a line and depending on where your transfer station is for dsl so yes satellite is faster goes direct into your cable. The main advantage that satellite Internet service has over DSL is that satellite Internet is available virtually anywhere in the US even in rural areas where DSL and Cable don't reach. Generally, satellite Internet service beats cable or DSL Internet when DSL or cable Internet is NOT AN OPTION. Cable or DSL access is almost always cheaper (less expensive) than satellite Internet, but not always faster.
Compared to cable and DSL, yes, satellite internet services do have slow upload speeds. Additionally, they are less reliable than cable and DSL.
You'll probably have to choose satellite Internet service. High-speed DSL is not available in that area. Cable Internet is also not available except where cable TV is available.
Satellite internet service should only be considered by those living outside the coverage area of any DSL or cable company. The speed of service by satellite is comparable to DSL however the monthly service charges are much higher.
Cable Internet service, DSL, Fiber to the Premises (FTTP), Fixed wireless, Cellular Radio Network, Wi-Fi, Satellite Internet Service
Satellite Internet service was developed as a high speed Internet option for places that do not have the hardwired infrastructure required to support cable or DSL Internet access. A satellite Internet system is the fastest and least costly means of deploying broadband Internet to rural areas. Satellite is very effective when used to provide broadband to areas that otherwise would only have dial up service.
Time Warner Cable service offers a bundled service. However, time Warner severely overcharge for cable television services. Fair Point offers a program where a bundle can be purchased that includes a satellite television subscription as well. Satellite subscriptions a far superior to cable in both quality and price.
That would depend on if you wanted very high speeds. For satellite the signal has to travel to orbital space then back to earth that's quite a distance so they offer slower speeds. You will also have to deal with interruptions during poor weather.I think cable internet is the better choice.
Satellite Internet is generally just as secure as cable or DSL Internet service. Having good virus protection is essential for any computer.
