Nissan recommends 5W/30 Engine-oil for Nissan Altima (same as for Maxima) for 95, 96, 97, ... later years.
Nissan altima 2015
One car that I know of that uses this filter is a 1998 Nissan Altima.
There is no carburetor located on a 1994 Nissan Altima because it uses fuel injection. A carburetor is typically located on top of the engine on the intake manifold.
The 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5 liter four cylinder uses a timing CHAIN
It is important to maintain the fluid levels in a car with the right type so fluids. The 2006 Nissan Altima uses 5w30 engine oil.
The 2000 altima uses a KA24DE motor which requires 3.5 quarts of a 10W-30 grade of motor oil
There is no MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor in a 2002 or later altima. This altima uses a MAF (Mass Airflow Sensor). It is in the intake and has a clip with 5 prongs.
It uses special nissan-matic fluid. It can be purchased in the after market.
The right type of fluid will keep a car running at its best. The 1995 5-speed Nissan pickup uses 75W-90 Gear oil.
A 1998 Nissan Altima uses 134a refrigerant. When charging the A/C system the correct pressure should always be used. An undercharged system will not cool properly and an overcharged system can cause the lines to fail.
This filter fits any 3.3 and some 3.5 Nissan. Pathfinder, Altima etc.
