I think you asked two questions:
What kind of pollution is created from factory waste?
What kind of pollution is created by an oil spill?
I will expand a bit on these questions and explain why most factories are careful not to pollute. Also, oil companies since the BP oil spill are trying not to have a similar accident.
Factories if they are not careful can discharge substances that pollute the air, water and earth. There are many chemicals and biological substances that can result from industries.
There are laws and inspections of factories to be sure that they are not causing pollution. There are Federal, State and local laws or regulations. Pollution may also be excessive noise or bad odor.
A Federal law or regulation sets an upper limit to an industry. For example, let us say that an environmental rule states that only 1 ton of sulfur may be emitted each year. A State may make it more difficult and say the limit is half a ton but could not make the limit easier and make it a 1.5 tons.
Businesses that do not abide by the law can be fined or shut down. If excessive pollution is occurring inside the factory, the owners can be fined and sued for health related problems. There can be criminal charges against the owners.
The pollutant created by an oil spill is mostly crude oil, but also includes natural gas. The burning of crude oil creates air pollution, that may contain harmful substances. In the case of the BP oil spill, the smoke from the burning oil did not cause any serious air pollution.
Now, an accidental oil spill is different from an intentional pollution by a factory, but it still results in environmental damage. In the case of the BP oil spill, 11 lives were lost and many people on board the rig were injured. The extent of damage was severe as oil appeared on beaches in four states, and shrimping was banned in large areas of the Gulf.
With the severe consequences of an accidental oil spill, oil companies are being more careful of the design of wells and drilling practices.

global warming litter waste dumped in water oil spills
ocean pollution is when chemicals or waste spills into the sea.It can be prevented if you join groups like green pease or give money to those groups.
oil spills, overfishing, waste, garbage, pollution, sludge and other health issues
we must not add factory waste into water
When the water is polluted by oil spills, agriculture chemicals, heat, factories waste, garbage and sewage.
Two of the many kinds of pollution are air pollution and water pollution. Air pollution is caused when chemicals, such as carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide, get released into the air and go towards the atmosphere. Water pollution is caused when waste products and contaminants get released and get into rivers, causing groundwater, liquid spills, waste water discharges, and littering. I got this answer at wikipedia I you on whatever you are doing.
