Banger is the type of sausage for the Bangers and MASH dish. The Banger sausage is mainly made of pork butt, a small amount of breadcrumbs, water and an array of spices depending on the brand. Bangers get their name from their bursting or "banging" in high frying temperatures. To avoid losing most of the sausage bangers may be boiled first and sliced lengthwise prior to frying or grilling this may cause the bangers to lose much of their flavor but the British are not know for their cuisine.

Either. You can even make sausage yourself at home.
To make the stuffing with sausage....take whatever recipe you want to use and just add your UNCOOKED sausage to the mix. You can used Jimmy Dean or whatever.
Depends on what kind of "meat" is being processed. For example, the only part of a pig that is not used for human consumption is THE OINK. Example: sausage is made from different cuts of the pig (some fat, some lean), it is put through a sausage grinder with some spices, and then, if it is true pork sausage, the pig's intestine is stuffed with the mixture--ergo SAUSAGE. Enjoy!
You can but you might get food poisining if you are not careful.

Icelandic slátur is the collective name for blood sausage and liver sausage, and also for the necessary ingredients. "To take slátur" means to buy the ingredients and make the sausages, and in fact Icelandic supermarkets sell boxes with blood, livers, suet and stomachs (sometimes also the salt, cereals, thread and needles) in the autumn when the summer lambs are slaughtered. So...basically blood pudding. Hope this helps :D Love, Lifeislikethat
In the US, the term "hot dog" refers to both the sausage by itself and the combination of sausage and bun.
