It looks like any mount that will clamp to the top rail is good. No gunsmithing is necessary to mount a scope.
What do you mean by "gun mount". Do you want to display it on a wall? Are you referring to putting a scope on it?
You will have to have it checked by a gunsmith.
Just today I put weaver rings on mine. They have a 3/8 dovetail base and 1" scope rings. I had short 1" rings but I could not remove my bolt for cleaning. The rings I replaced the rings with the above mentioned. 3/8 dovetail mount 1" rings fro scope mounting see thru mounts for use of iron sights And the most important part of all is the 7/8 rise of the new mounts.
Hello: Weaver offers a scope base for the Marlin Model 512 Slugmaster, contact Weaver for a complete package. Thanks side scope mount (Weaver 10M)
That gun was made by Marlin for Sears, and those holes are not factory. Someone has drilled and tapped it for (probably) a Weaver side-mount base.
Typically, a 2.5 to 4 power scope. You may need an offset mount, since the 94 ejects through the top.
Scope mounts and sights are not categorized as gun parts under US federal law and they can be shipped from the US to Canada. You can check eBay or any one of the US supply houses, Midway MidWest, Bass pro shops. I wouldn't scope a top ejecting lever action so I can't recommend a particular brand.
what kind of scope would fit a model 94 30 30 serial number 5003009
Paul Higgins is part of the One Direction management and security, but he is kind.
I have found them listed on the net for $100.00 - $160.00. All of these have been without the standard 4x scope. I purchased one at auction last night for $165.00 with scope in good condition. Kind of missed the one my dad had when I was a kid. Make sure the internal sling is ther and in working order, an inovation not seen on many rifles and a hell of a good idea.
