The advice to help induce labor by eating spicy food doesn't mean you can induce anytime but that it only works when your body is ready for it. So I doubt it will since you are not fullterm yet.
Take it from a Latina... spicy food does no more to help than throwing a penny into a wishing well. If this were true that spicy food brought on labor, then every Latino on earth would go prematurely. Many pregnant women come to my Resturant seeking habenero heat to work its induction power and all leave scorched and frustrated at the outcome. If you do try the spicy method despite this answer keep milk or bread or cheese close by to cut the burn in your mouth and keep your fingers out of your eyes and your gentle areas or open wounds.... the peppers have a long lasting oil that can get into delicate areas and cause such discomfort that the recipient will not be able to rid themselves of the agony for a long time. Been there, done that.
Spicy
Mostly spicy food.
Some kinds of spicy food are hot wings, hot sauce, jalapenos, some meats, and even some dishes including red beans and quesidillas. These are only some of the few spicy foods that are out there!

Eating spicy food is kind of like sinning. You eat it because it is awesome, but you know there will be consequences. spicy foods can cause the veins of the rectum to become inflamed or dilated and can cause pain. It can also irritate the intestines if you are not use to eating spicy food regularly (causing that fire-in-the-hole sensation).

I would say that most Creole dishes are pretty mild-tasting... however, in my experience, jambalaya is usually spicy (though not necessarily so, and the kind I eat is often made from the Zatarain's mix, with a lot of stuff added). I think Cajun food is a bit more consistently spicy across the board. Jambalaya is more spicy
