You will need front wheel drive transmission. If you want a manual transmission, the most popular is the 5 speed Muncie/Getrag that came stock in the Fieros. This transmission is supposedly rated to 400 horse power. If you want an automatic, that REALLY depends on the engine as many automatics are electronic and require the engine computer to control the shifting. The most popular transmissions in this group include 4T60E, 4T65, 4T85. Non-electronic transmissions capable of running small V-8s include the stock TH125 and the 4T60 (non-"E").
Something small with a 4 cylinder engine and a standard transmission.
Depending on the engine and transmission in the XC90. The 5 cylinder is down on the frt of the transmission and is a small yellow handle sticking out of the dipstick tube between the transmission and the engine cooling fan. The 6 cylinder transmission dipstick is also yellow but it is on top of the engine on the drivers side toward the rear of the engine compartment right next to the upper motor mount.

Answer 1: heck yes you name it, it can be done to a fiero Answer 2: No, not the four cylinder, not in any noticeable way. It was designed as a sporty economy car, and canny GM engineers already implemented any worthwhile performance perks. The crankshaft is too light to take any meaningful horsepower increase and the rear end won't handle the increased torque from a larger engine. You'd have to change both the engine and the rear end and then you wouldn't really have a Fiero. On the other hand, my '87 four cylinder will do 116mph, which is plenty enough to get you in trouble, gets 27mpg, looks good, and the handling is great. The 6 cylinder is plenty fast already, but yes, you can turbocharge it, supercharge it, nitrous inject it, drop in a small V8, whatever you want. Just remember it does no good to beef up your engine if your transmission can't handle the increased torque.
YES! You can put ANY small block Chevy into a Fiero. Visit here, http://www.v8archie.com/, there you can find the conversion kit (minus the engine) and answers to all of your questions.
If the blazer had a v8 in it No if it had a 2.8 or a 4 cylinder Yes if it had a 4.3 engine.
No, because the small block Chev fits so well
As far as I know , the Ford Taurus has always had some form of V6 engine Unless you had a Taurus SHO , some years had a small V8 engine
yes, its not a question of what will fit...its a question of how much money you want to spend.
The "small block" Chev engine is a popular engine swap for this car. As to the twin turbo that is going to be a large amount of work but completely doable.
the ax5 would only be on a 4 cylinder, it is small in size as compared to the ax15, and the ax15 will be only on the 4.0 engine. The ax5 has an internal slave cylinder while the 15 has an external one.
350 Engines dont have transmission fluid. The Transmission does. Start the engine, leave the trans in Park, pull the dipstick and look at it. fill to full mark when the engine is fully warned up
