You'd have to change both the engine and the rear end and then you wouldn't really have a Fiero. On the other hand, my '87 four cylinder will do 116mph, which is plenty enough to get you in trouble, gets 27mpg, looks good, and the handling is great. The 6 cylinder is plenty fast already, but yes, you can turbocharge it, supercharge it, nitrous inject it, drop in a small V8, whatever you want. Just remember it does no good to beef up your engine if your transmission can't handle the increased torque.
