Muslim culture mandates support of the poor. The prohibition on alcohol prevents the alcohol problem that Westerners have. Muslim cultures help people resist invading cultures.
Christians are supposed to give a little support to all human beings, regardless of their beliefs. A Christian would support a Muslim because he was there.However, supporting a person (a Muslim) is a very different thing from supporting an ideology (Islam). No informed Christian would support Islam - or any other ideology that was incompatible with Christianity.
