There are literally thousands of fish that can live in a warm water fish tank. (Far too many to list here.) They are called "Tropical Fish" and they come in many shapes and sizes. Many species can be viewed and/or purchased at most good pet shops.

∙ 10y agoThe types of fish can be placed in cold water tanks, are goldfish zebra and leopard danios, betta, paradise fish, mosquito fish, guppies, swordtails, platies, hill stream loach, endlers livebearer, rosy barbs, golden barbs, giant danio, white skirt tetra, bitterlings, sticklebacks and peppered and bronze corydoras.

This will dilute the waste products that are in solution. When you have no filter, the fish are essentially living in a septic tank.
