-- falling down and going boom when you slip on the ice

-- throwing a Baseball and watching it follow a parabolic path until it hits the ground

-- rain and snow heading to the ground when they come out of clouds

-- airplanes landing when the pilots back off the throttles

-- astronomical objects, like the Earth and space shuttle, orbiting other objects, like the sun

Example 1: You pick up a pen, then drop it. Gravity pulls it down. Example 2: If walk on Jupiter (if it was possible, anyways) you would feel very heavy and you would walk very slow. That's because the gravity on Jupiter is a lot stronger than Earth's.
