absolutely not. Minors are not able to cosign any loans, only an adult (eighteen years or older) is aloud to cosign a loan. the law states that any minor is not responcible for the repayment of any loan.
No because you are not legally an adult. You may be able to if you get an adult to cosign
No, this is not possible. Legally, you have to enter a binding contract with a credit company, and even with a cosigner, no one under the age of 18 can legally enter into a contract. If you are emancipated, then you are considered a legal adult, and then that would be a different story. Other than that, this is not possible. -Jesse
No. Your mother (or some other adult) would have to be the primary creditor.
Yes, but if you don't pay the bill the cosigner will be held responsible
Yes, an 18 year old can be a cosigner for an adult. At the age of 18, the individual themselves is considered an adult. Any adult, depending on whether or not their credit is good or bad, can cosign for another adult.
they want your parents or another responsible adult to say they will repay the loan if you can't .
Of course you can unless she is on the contract with you. What if everyone needed lawyers to make their kids move out?
Yes, only an adult can sign a loan. In most places that means you must be at least 18.
In order to obtain the credit or maybe to obtain a better interest rate on the credit being requested. In most cases a credit application is stronger with two applicants on it rather than one. If you are under the legal age to sign a contract (18 in most places) you may be required to have a legal adult to sign with you.
Only an adult can enter into an enforceable contract. In Venezuela that is the age of 18.
Not on their own ! Legally (at least in the UK) you cannot sign a contract for anything under the age of 16. Anyone under 16 would need an adult to sign the contract (and thus the adult would be responsible for the bill !)
