Best Answer

The Wintun people speak English.

There are also 3 native languages, but all are extremely endangered:

  1. Wintu (Wintu proper, Northern Wintu), went extinct in 2003 with Flora Jones. Revival is planned.
  2. Nomlaki (Noamlakee, Central Wintu), extinct, but there may be one partial speaker left.
  3. Patwin (a.k.a. Patween), as of 2003, there was 1 native speaker left, but current info is unknown.
